DOES THE SIGNALPROOF APPAREL BLOCKS 5G NETWORK?

The answer is: YES, it does. 

5G, or the 5th generation of mobile networks, uses multiple low and high frequencies, such as 700 MHz and 3500 MHz. It primarily operates on 700 MHz, which was previously used by terrestrial TV and emitted over long distances with very low intensity. Now, it is deployed directly in cities, significantly increasing its intensity. The penetration of 700 MHz into buildings is very effective, making it the best among all active mobile network frequencies. This is why it is being used for 5G.

The second phase of the "5G roll-out" will use much higher frequencies, ranging from 20,000 to 30,000 GHz, and is expected to begin around 2025. Shielding fabrics are designed to withstand these super high frequencies, but they have not been officially tested yet.

Most tests of shielding fabrics are conducted up to 6 GHz since the highest known frequency used commercially in daily life is WiFi at 5.8 GHz.

When comparing 5G with 4G or LTE, these older technologies use even more frequencies: 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2600 MHz.

 

WHY IS THE SIGNALPROOF HAT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE ORDINARY HAT?

The answer is: Because of special shielding silver fabric inside the hat. 

Every Signalproof hat is made of two layers: an outer layer and an inner layer. The inner layer always contains the special shielding fabric, which consists of pure silver. This silver ensures the highest performance and offers other advantages such as antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-odor, and antistatic properties. While there are cheaper materials available for this purpose, such as copper or steel, they do not last as long, lack these additional features, and can cause allergies. And silver is silver.

 

WHY IS MY CELL PHONE RINGING INSIDE THE HAT? 

The answer is: The signal around must be stronger than the hat is able to  completely attenuate.

A signal-blocking hat is not magic; it's pure physics. Special shielding fabric can only shield a particular spectrum of electromagnetic radiation. Generally, the shielding effect is up to ≈80dB. If the signal around is stronger than this value, which is a very normal and common situation, your cell phone, even when covered by the hat, will ring. However, the received signal is greatly reduced. It's similar to waterproof, windproof, bulletproof, or other protective materials. If you shoot at a bulletproof vest with a machine gun, it will fail. If you expose a waterproof jacket to a storm, it will fail. If you subject windproof pants to a hurricane, they will fail. But you will still be somewhat more protected and comfortable than you would be without them. The signalproof feature does not provide 100% protection, but it's worth having.

 

CAN I MEASURE THE SIGNALPROOF EFFICIENCY WITH A CELL PHONE?

The answer is: Barely.

Dots or ticks on the signal indicator are not accurate, and each phone model reacts differently. It also takes a long time for the phone to realize that it is losing the signal. Another problem is that you cannot see the reaction of your phone inside the apparel. If you put it in and then pull it out, you will not see the real status of the indicator. You would have to be inside the apparel with your phone, similar to testing a waterproof bag underwater. You simply cannot open the bag underwater to check if it is dry. Additionally, signal strength varies and depends on your location. If you are very close to the emitter or antenna, then your signal indicator may not drop. The apparel cannot completely eliminate signals, but it reduces them to a minimum, having almost no effect on you. The only reliable way to test the apparel is with certified measuring instruments or EMF consultants. We have done this, as you can see in the video above, or you can do it yourself in these places. The signal strength inside the apparel is hundreds of times lower than outside.

IS THERE ANY EVIDENCE THAT SIGNALS ARE HARMFUL?

The answer is: No, there's no evidence.

We are not saying that it's proven or that we should be scared. The truth is that there is no official evidence that signals cause harm. However, there are many studies and plenty of documentaries that deal with this topic. And as they say, where there's smoke, there's fire. If you want to learn more about this issue, here is a list of studies.

 

DOES THE APPAREL REALLY WORK?

The answer is: Yes.

Yes, it works because of the shielding silver fabric inside. It has a premium shielding effectiveness of 35dB - 80dB from 10 MHz to 6 GHz and beyond. This means that only 0.1% of high-frequency radiation can penetrate the shielding silver fabric. The shielding silver fabric is certified and tested.

Silver is also antibacterial, antimicrobial, anti-odor, and antistatic. Generally, our apparel can't completely protect your body against signals because your entire body would need to be covered from top to bottom. However, you can at least shield important parts.

 

DOES IT NEED TO BE GROUNDED?

The answer is: No.

A Faraday cage works without a ground connection when it comes to the hat. Signals are not amplified without an earth bond.

 

DOES IT INCREASE THE CHANCE OF LIGHTNING STRIKE?

The answer is: No.

No, it definitely doesn't.

 

DO SIGNALS COME THROUGH OTHER PARTS OF THE BODY?

If you are thinking about signals that come through other parts of the body, hit the inside of the reflective side of the apparel, then pass back through the body a second time or stay inside and multiply their power, you need to know that this is ridiculous. The signal is not a bullet, and the apparel/hat is not an amplifier. It's like asking, “Why do I feel cold in my winter jacket? It was supposed to protect me against the cold, but it comes through my sleeves, top, and bottom parts.” Nothing is one hundred percent effective, and everything depends on other factors. But in any case, you are not going to freeze in that winter jacket. The frequency of signals inside the apparel is very, very low and is also decreased by your skin, bones, and the water in your tissues.

 

HOW TO WASH IT? (Washing instructions)

To prevent the degradation of the silver fabric, we recommend handwashing and using organic detergents. If you decide to use a washing machine, make sure to wash it at the lowest available temperature.

 

IS THE HAT JUST A FANCIER VERSION OF A TIN FOIL HAT?
